Shawn Kanungo is a globally recognized innovation strategist and bestselling author. Combining creativity, business and technology, Kanungo spent 12 years at Deloitte working closely with leaders to help them better plan for the opportunities associated with disruptive innovation. Today, he is a partner with Queen & Rook, where he advises premier organizations and executives on disruptive trends and invests in early-stage ventures. Drawing on his extensive experience with artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and behavioral economics, he provides audiences with an optimistic road map for embracing unexpected approaches to innovation to remain competitive and relevant.
Rebecca Heiss specializes in unpacking the paradoxes of the way people think to help them overcome their evolutionary limitations. As founder and CEO of the leadership awareness mobile app icueity, Heiss is among the founding faculty members to develop a startup school to nurture entrepreneurial minds and approach learning through impact. Her research is considered transformative by the National Science Foundation.
MDRT member attendees are eligible to bring a business partner or key staff person from their organizations to learn together, create plans to expand their practices and help implement ideas gained from MDRT EDGE into their business operations. Who is key to helping you run your business?
MDRT EDGE guests must work in the U.S. or Canada. Guests will have access to the entire event but may only participate in Peer Groups if their member colleague opts in during registration. Guests may not be MDRT Academy or MDRT Center for Field Leadership members. Member and guest fees are the same. Limit one guest per MDRT member attendee.

Extended sessions take a deep dive into specific business-related topics and tasks. They combine lectures and small-group discussions to help you develop an understanding of the specific issues and challenges you face in your financial services practice on a daily basis. Members will have the opportunity to choose eight of the 12 Workshop Sessions to attend.

We’re proud to partner with The Goodr Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on providing healthy meals to youth, families, and seniors through its recipient and non-profit partner network. The MDRT Foundation will have a service project to pack healthy snacks to be delivered to the Atlanta community.
